Gary W. Logan

After nearly forty years in full time ministry Gary "retired" to begin Synago LLC, dedicated to working toward creating communities where there is a greater appreciation for and understanding of the many cultures in which we live and work.

Gary has served as U.S. Armed Forces Chaplaincy denominational representative; presented professional papers at conferences in Washington D.C., Himeji, Japan, Chengdu, China and Valencia Spain; wrote a curriculum for global youth leadership development for Sustainable Hope International working in Chiang Mai, Thailand; and has served locally on several non-profit boards.  While living in Seoul, he served as supervising minister for East Asia and pastor of the Seoul Congregation, where he was project manager for a $5 million worship and community facility.

It has been Gary’s privilege to travel many places (over 25 countries) and meet amazing and courageous people in many cultures. Gary lived in Seoul, Korea, while traveling extensively throughout Asia. He has been blessed with family and friends with roots on six continents (with international students and guests welcomed into their home for over forty years). Gary loves to run and has completed seven marathons, each time raising funds for organizations dedicated to eradicating extreme poverty. He has recently discovered the joy and satisfaction of throwing mud on a wheel. Gary finds that all of life is an adventure. Every day brings new experiences, new friends, new ideas, and new joys.
