I grew up in a home where the coffee pot was on the stove 24/7. I think my mother was born with a coffee cup in her hand. She didn’t like big mugs—claimed they made the coffee cold and stale. “Besides,” she would say, “work never ends, and a small cup gives you just the right amount for a nice break to have conversation, gather your thoughts, rest your bones, and re-energize!” So these small coffee cups are a tribute to mom’s work ethic and always being ready for the next coffee break.
